BEGGARS RECEIVE DURGA PUJA GIFTS FROM TRANSGENDERS AT RAIGUNJ

Webdesk, TNI Raigunj, 01st October, 2016: The transgenders of Raigunj today handed over clothes to the beggars here for the Durga puja occasion. Many beggars of the area were handed over clothes for celebrating the Durga Puja festival. The transgenders are always away from the mainstream world because of the gender problem. This time, they are involved in social activities of the people and expectedly they are very happy. The guide of the transgenders of Raigunj Sona Mashi told TNI that the main program was organized at their residential places. At least 600 beggars were handed over the items like Sarees, Lungis, Cloth etc. On the other side, the beggars were seemingly having happier faces after receiving the unexpected gifts.
